Canvas Personalization Guidlines

Personalization Process: All of the personalization templates can be modified with your own text. For instance, we can add one of the example pin legends to any of the options and can modify any of the pin legends to suit your needs. We can also change the quotes listed in the examples or add a quote to most of the options if the text is not too long. If you have any questions about whether a personalization you would like will work, feel free to Contact Us. Please note, space is more limited on some of our designs than others. If you submit your order and we can’t make what you want work, we will contact you to let you know.

How to Order

How to Order: To order, simply select "Yes" to the option to personalize your map from the drop down menu. Then select one of the 6 text personalization options from the drop-down menu. You may then enter the text in the provided “Personalization Text” box. If the option you select includes a quote, it will be included unless you request otherwise. Next select "Yes" or "No" from the drop down menu as to whether you would like a pin legend included with your personalization (see options 1, 2 & 6 for examples of pin legends) and if so, enter the text in the provided "Legend Text" box. Next select “Add to Cart”. 

Ordering Example

Ordering Example: If you decide to choose text option 4, but you would like to add a legend and change the quote, you can enter your personalization as follows:

To avoid confusion, please enter everything you would like printed on the map. If you leave out a date, we will not print a date. If you choose an option that includes a legend (Options 1, 2 or 6), but do not want the legend on there, please select “No legend needed” from the drop down menu. If you select options 5 or 6, but do not want the quote, please leave a note that says "Remove Quote".

We are experts at personalizing maps and will make sure your custom personalization looks awesome before it is printed on your map. We do not generally send proofs as this can substantially delay getting your order shipped. However, if you would like a proof of your personalization sent before the maps is printed, please leave a note at checkout. Proofs will generally be sent within 2 business days after ordering. If you request a proof, we will not ship your order until you approve the proof, so please keep an eye out on your email. We are not responsible for delays in shipping your order if we do not hear from you regarding your proof.

Please Note: Emails from us can sometimes get caught up in your Spam or Promotions folders, so please check these folders regularly if you have not heard from us within 1-2 days so your order is not held up.

Processing Time

Processing Time: Personalized framed and gallery wrapped canvas maps may take up to 2-4 business days to process when standard shipping is selected. If you select Expedited Shipping during checkout, we will do our best to ship your order within 1-2 business days. Please add 2 days to the estimated delivery date provided at checkout. If you need your map by a certain date, please contact us to verify we can get it to you by that date. We are unable to offer proofs for orders that select expedited shipping as this would delay expediting your order.


Typos: Please, please, please carefully review your personalized text before submitting your order. We are not responsible for any typos you make while placing your order. You will receive an order confirmation email after you complete your order where you can once again review your text for accuracy. If you do notice an error after submitting your order, please contact us ASAP so we can correct the typo before your map is printed. If you contact us after your map is printed, but before your order is shipped, we will charge you a $20 fee to have the map printed again.

Cancellation/Return Policy

Cancellation/Return Policy: Once your order has shipped, or your proof is approved, we can no longer accept changes, cancellations, returns, or exchanges on custom personalized maps. We thank you for your understanding.
